With a vision of self-reliance and technology leadership in braking- disc & drum, Munjal Kiriu set up its first flagship center for advanced research and development at Manesar Plant.

The R&D center will work on CAE, market parts simulation, testing & research on noise control along with high-value-added Disc Brake Rotors design and have a vision of coming up with technologies for rust and dust-free brake parts by FY 2028.

Under the leadership of Mr. Hiroyuki Yumoto– MKI R&D Head heaving more than 30 years of experience and 2 Japanese patents locally based center local engineers will be nurtured so that all customers’ requirements can be fulfilled with no time waste.

With a testing facility available in-house, Munjal Kiriu Industries will be able to provide solutions/ expert analyses to Indian OEM along with Tier-1.

The independent R&D center will provides innovative design solutions for concepts, prototypes and production projects with industrial design for automotive braking. CAE based analyses will help in pre development stage analyses which will help in no waste of time and efforts and will give more reliable product solutions.

The R&D center also leads innovation processes for the group (MKI+ Kiriu Global centers) along for enhancing and developing the capabilities to promote self-reliance and technology leadership not in Indian market but globally.
